Weekend of Holidays: St. Valentine's Day

This weekend, I took a break from the craft room and headed back to the kitchen.

<3 Dessert - cream filled chocolate cupcakes (don't make if you're on a diet)

I accidentally discovered a great product while shopping for ingredients, Cook's Bavarian Style Heavy Whipping Cream! They didn't have regular whipping cream at Safeway so I bought this instead. The great thing is that it's already sweetened and flavored with vanilla (and it's Bavarian), so all you gotta do is whip it up and instant whip cream!

<3 Breakfast - pancakes, sunny side up egg, bacon, sausage links, toast w/jam. Very easy to make with handy heart-shaped cookie cutters! And yes, I made it super cheesy by forming I <3 U with the food.

<3 Dinner (made for me, check out the cayenne pepper heart <3) - duck confit, roasted potatoes (in duck fat) and cabbage/apple slaw - so decadent, I don't think I'll be eating this meal for a long time!
